Tamron USA has announced that, marking their 60th anniversary, it has developed a new high resolution lens for digital SLR cameras. The SP 70-300mm F/4-5.6 Di VC USD telephoto zoom lens has been produced first for the Nikon mount, with the eventual development of compatible mounts for Canon and Sony.

Panasonic launches Lumix DMC-G2 and Lumix DMC-G10
Panasonic announces today the Lumix DMC-G2 and Lumix DMC-G10 Micro Four Thirds interchangeable lens cameras. Replacing the Lumix G1, the G2 will feature a 3.0 inch vari-angle touch panel LCD and a high-resolution EVF. The entry-level Lumix G10 offers many of the same features but will not have a touch screen.
